The park will be packed with masses to do, no matter who you are, where you're from, what you like or how you like it there will be something to interest you. There will be music tents, cabaret, trade stalls, Community village, access tent, food stalls and bars.
"This year's line-up is more diverse than ever, promising something to tickle everyone's musical tastebuds, including rip-roaring vocalist, slide-guitar freak and comedienne Nicky Mitchell, poetry, comedy, cometry and pomedry from Yvo Luna, Funny Women Awards semi-finalist Sharon Tyas and the golden tones of Radio Reverb and Loop TV presenter Cat Harding. Local talent is well represented, with edgy one-woman acoustic band Amity, alt-country from Danni Nicholls, nu-folk from Lianne Hall, and acoustic rock from Zora and the Tatsmiths. We welcome Sandra MacBeth, bringing some dirty pop from Scotland, and soulful Jess Gardham from York makes a welcome return with her full band. From 5.30pm we get ready to rock with killer live band Kenelis, vaudeville punk from Voodoo Hussy (fronted by Big Brother's Shabby) and back by popular demand, the electronic soul of Heads.Hearts to get everyone dancing. Lesbian feel-good favourites Greymatter close the show.
